About this product
The Dormer P803 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a cylinder shape and end cut, suited to machining flat surfaces and right-angled corners. It uses a double-cut (DC) flute geometry with closely spaced edges, giving smooth material removal, good control and improved metal removal rate while breaking swarf into manageable pieces. It has a toughened, hardened steel shank for rigidity and strength, reducing bending and vibration and helping tool life. The carbide is ground to h6 and the steel to h7, with brazing designed for strong bonding and good impact and heat resistance. Suitable for steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and its alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. Bright (uncoated) finish. Diameter 8mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 19mm, overall length approximately 64-65mm.
