About this product
The Dormer P809 solid carbide rotary burr has an oval (E-shape) profile, designed for contouring and finishing work. It uses a double-cut flute geometry that gives efficient material removal, good control and a smooth surface finish, while breaking swarf into manageable pieces and reducing the risk of congestion near the centre. It has a bright, uncoated solid carbide tip brazed to a toughened, hardened steel shank for rigidity and resistance to bending and vibration. Suitable for steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. Specification: 8mm cutting diameter, 6mm cylindrical shank, 60mm overall length.
