About this product
The Dormer P805 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball nosed cylinder (C) shape, used for precision machining tasks such as contouring and circular arcs. It suits steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The double cut flute geometry gives efficient material removal, breaks swarf into manageable pieces and reduces vibration, giving good control and a smooth finish. It has a toughened, hardened steel shank for rigidity and strength, resisting bending and improving tool life, with a bright, uncoated finish. Diameter and shank diameter are both 6mm, with an 18mm working length and 50mm overall length.
