About this product
The Dormer P807 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball-shaped head, uncoated (bright) finish and double cut geometry. It suits intricate carving, metal engraving and welding preparation, giving fine detail and clean finishes on materials such as steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The ball nose design uses skip flute grinding for added strength at the centre, reducing swarf congestion and improving cutting action, control and metal removal, while breaking swarf into manageable pieces. The toughened and hardened steel shank adds rigidity, resisting bending and vibration for improved tool life, with special brazing for strong joint strength. Specification: cutting diameter 8mm, working length 6mm, shank diameter 6mm, overall length 52mm, cylindrical shank.
