About this product
The Dormer P807 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball-shaped head, uncoated (bright) finish and double cut flute geometry. It suits general machining tasks such as carving, engraving and weld preparation, giving fine detail and clean finishes across materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. The ball nose design uses skip flute grinding for added strength at the centre, reducing swarf congestion and improving cutting action, giving better control and higher metal removal rates. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity, resisting bending and vibration for improved tool life. Specification: 6mm cutting diameter, 6mm shank diameter, 4.7mm working length, 50mm overall length.
