About this product
The Dormer P807 is a solid carbide rotary burr with a ball-shaped (D shape) head, finished bright and uncoated. It suits intricate carving, metal engraving and welding preparation, working well on steel, cast steel, stainless steel, cast iron, copper and copper alloys, high-temperature alloys and hardened materials. It uses a double cut (skip flute) geometry, giving increased strength at the centre, reduced swarf congestion and improved cutting action, with swarf broken into manageable pieces and a good metal removal rate. The toughened, hardened steel shank adds rigidity, reducing bending and vibration for better tool life, with braze joints designed for strength. Specification: diameter 9.6mm, shank diameter 6mm, working length 8mm, overall length 54mm, cylindrical shank.
