About this product
Bondloc B574 is a form-in-place instant gasket maker used to replace traditional paper and cork gaskets in automotive and industrial sealing applications. It forms to almost any size and shape of joint and eliminates relaxation and preload loss, giving a consistent seal. The orange dimethacrylate paste cures in 10 minutes with activator or 15-30 minutes without, with full cure reached after 24 hours at 20°C. Assembled parts are suitable for immediate low-pressure service (6 bar), rising to resistance of up to 350 bar once fully cured, depending on gap size. Gap filling is effective up to 0.5mm, and it operates across a temperature range of -55°C to 150°C. Typical uses include gearbox sealing, pump flanges, transmission assemblies, tank cover plates, camshaft sealing, bearing gaps, outer housings, crankcase and sump assemblies, and flange pipe fittings. Supplied in a 50ml size.
