About this product
Bondloc B577 is a fast-curing anaerobic pipe sealant for threaded connections in plumbing and pipework systems. Supplied as a yellow thixotropic gel paste, it cures in contact with metal in the absence of air, sealing instantly to 10 bar for quick testing, and reaching resistance up to 350 bar once fully cured (6-12 hours). It is not suitable for oxygen systems. The Teflon-enhanced formula offers good chemical and solvent resistance, including to ethanol, motor oil, unleaded petrol, acetone and brake fluid, making it suited to threaded connections carrying water, oil, gases and other common pipework materials. It fills gaps of 0.05mm to 0.4mm and withstands operating temperatures up to +150°C, suiting hot and cold water systems, heating installations and industrial pipework. Supplied in a 50ml pack with a 12-month shelf life at 20°C.
