The Bahco 9631 12mm Long Flat Bit is a long-series wood bit designed for reaching awkward spots and drilling accurate, deep holes. At 400mm overall length, it suits medium plumbing and electrical work, dowelling and general joinery where extra reach through thick timber is needed.

Made from high-carbon steel and heat-treated throughout, the bit has a positive cutting angle that drills twice as fast and lasts three times longer than a conventional flat bit. The hardened blade is forged directly from the round shaft, giving the rigidity needed to keep the hole accurate at depth.

Winged shoulders cut the wood's circumference first before removing the centre section, giving a smooth finish and good swarf clearance. Supplied as a single 12mm bit.
