About this product
The CorePlus DCD162 is a 162mm diamond dry core drill bit designed for large-scale drilling in masonry, concrete and stone. Its size suits major construction and civil engineering work, such as forming large access holes for drainage, ventilation or utility installations.
The bit uses 8mm diamond segments with a high concentration of premium-grade diamond in the bond, made using diamond/metal bonding metallurgy for durability. A ribbed core body and V-groove segments help clear debris quickly, supporting continuous cutting, while the aerated core design improves cooling and extends the bit's working life.
It has a 1/2in BSP threaded connection, compatible with standard core drilling machines and accessories. Drilling depth is 150mm.
