About this product
The CorePlus DCD48 is a 48mm diameter diamond dry core drill bit designed for drilling into masonry, concrete and stone. It suits medium-sized jobs such as standard waste pipes, larger water supply lines, electrical conduit bundles, ventilation ducting and general utility penetrations, with a drilling depth of 150mm.
It uses 8mm diamond segments with a high concentration of premium-grade diamond in the bond, made using diamond/metal bonding metallurgy for long-lasting performance. The ribbed core body and V-groove segments clear debris quickly, allowing continuous cutting, while the aerated core design improves cooling and extends the bit's working life.
The bit has a standard 1/2in BSP thread, making it compatible with conventional core drilling machines and accessories.
