About this product
This 12mm Brad Point Drill Bit from DEWALT is designed for heavier joinery work such as large dowel joints, bolt clearance holes and structural timber connections. It suits hardboard, plywood, chipboard and both hard and softwood, making it useful for kitchen fitting, staircase work and timber frame construction. Made from chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric, the bit has a centre location point and outer cutting spurs that give clean, accurate, splinter-free holes with walk-free entry. Engineered flutes clear chips efficiently to maintain performance through the cut. As with sizes 11mm and above, the shank is reduced to 9.5mm. Overall size is 12 x 155mm.
