About this product
The DEWALT DT4518-QZ is an 18mm brad point drill bit designed for large-diameter holes in hardwood, softwood, plywood, chipboard and engineered timber, suitable for bolt passages, pipe sleeves and large dowel joints. Its brad point tip gives precise, positive location so holes start exactly where intended without the bit wandering, while outer cutting spurs and precise cutting edges keep splintering to a minimum for a clean finish. Made from chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric, the bit is built for professional trade use. Engineered flutes clear the larger chip volume produced at this size, maintaining smooth, free-cutting performance. As with other bits of 11mm and above in this range, the shank is reduced to 9.5mm. Overall size is 18 x 200mm.
