About this product
This DEWALT Extreme Step Drill Bit covers a diameter range of 8mm to 18mm, giving a mid-range spread of hole sizes suited to electricians, fabricators and contractors. It is designed for drilling and enlarging holes in construction steel, ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics and thin-walled materials up to 3mm thick.
A 1/4" hex shank allows quick, tool-free bit changes, while the optimised geometry gives faster penetration without walking or skipping on entry. Specially ground shoulder cutters help produce clean, accurate circular holes.
The titanium coating improves wear and corrosion resistance, offering up to twice the life of a black oxide bit.
