About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and are also effective in wood and plastic. They are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The split pilot point design eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding positioning on curved surfaces, and three flat sides stop the bit slipping in the chuck. Permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Diameter is 3.2mm, with a working length of 36mm and overall length of 65mm, supplied as a pack of two.
