About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, both alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They are also effective in wood and plastic materials, and are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. The patented split pilot point design eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aiding accurate positioning even on curved surfaces. Three flat sides prevent slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head type, 3.3mm diameter, 36mm working length, 65mm overall length, supplied as a pack of two.
