About this product
This DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm, and is also effective in wood and plastic. It's particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A patented split pilot point design eliminates walking or slipping on contact, aided by an innovative tapered web that reduces breakage, and a gold ferrous oxide coating that helps prevent overheating for longer bit life. Three flat sides stop the bit slipping in the chuck, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. Specification: HSS head type, 10.0mm diameter, 84mm working length, 133mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
