About this product
The Dormer A002 is an HSS jobber drill bit with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, durable drilling in a range of materials. The pointed web and fluted tip design allows efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web geometry adds strength, rigidity and improved feed. The flutes support efficient chip formation and evacuation. The TiN coating reduces friction and heat build-up, resisting flank and crater wear and allowing increased cutting speeds, while the bright body finish suits ductile materials. It has a 118° point angle, conforms to DIN 338, and features visible tool-in-situ marking for easy identification. This 9.00mm bit has a working length of 81mm and an overall length of 125mm, supplied singly in a pouch pack.
