About this product
This DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bit is designed for portable or stationary drilling of alloyed and non-alloyed steel up to 900N/mm, and works effectively in wood and plastic too. It is particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A strong central core with a tapered web reduces breakage, while the patented split pilot point (no-walk tip) prevents slipping on contact, making positioning easier even on curved surfaces. A gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating, and three flat sides on the shank stop the bit slipping in the chuck. Permanent size markings above the shank keep the size visible during use. Specification: HSS head, 11.0mm diameter, 91mm working length, 142mm overall length, supplied as a single bit.
