About this product

The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for versatile use in hand-held or machine drilling. The coating reduces friction and heat build-up, improving cutting speed and helping to resist flank and crater wear for a longer tool life. It features a pointed web and fluted tip design that aids accurate centring and efficient chip evacuation, with a 118° point angle to DIN 338. The optimised helix angle adds stiffness across the diameter range, and the bright body finish supports cutting performance on ductile materials. This 10.00mm diameter bit has an overall length of 133mm and a working length of 87mm, supplied as a single piece in a pouch pack with visible tool marking for easy identification.
