These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are high-speed steel bits designed for drilling steel, alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm, and are also effective in wood and plastic. They suit portable or stationary drilling, particularly sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed. A split point tip prevents the bit from wandering or slipping on contact, allowing precise hole placement, while three flat sides stop slipping in the chuck. A tapered web construction reduces breakage, and a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating. Precision-ground flutes aid chip removal, and permanent size markings above the shank improve visibility. This pack contains 10 bits with a 2.5mm diameter, 30mm working length and 57mm overall length.
