About this product
These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are made from high-speed steel and designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, both alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They are particularly suited to drilling sheet or thin materials where accurate, burr-free holes are needed, and are also effective in wood and plastic. A patented split point tip prevents walking or slipping on contact, helping with precise hole placement. The three flat sides on the shank eliminate slipping in the chuck, while a tapered web reduces breakage and a gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating. Permanent size markings above the shank aid visibility. Each bit measures 3.0mm in diameter, with a 33mm working length and 61mm overall length, supplied in a pack of 10.
