About this product

These DEWALT Extreme 2 metal drill bits are made from high-speed steel and designed for portable or stationary drilling of steel, both alloyed and non-alloyed, up to 900N/mm. They are also effective in wood and plastic materials, making them a versatile choice for general workshop use. A patented split point tip eliminates walking or slipping on contact, giving accurate, burr-free holes, particularly useful when drilling sheet or thin materials. Three flat sides on the shank prevent slipping in the chuck, while a tapered web reduces the risk of breakage. A gold ferrous oxide coating helps prevent overheating, and permanent size markings above the shank keep the diameter clearly visible. This pack contains 10 bits with an 8.0mm diameter, 72mm working length and 117mm overall length.
