About this product
This 65 x 150mm dry diamond core bit is suited to plumbing and electrical installation work, cutting clean holes for soil pipes, conduits and ducting through brick and concrete blocks. It combines a 1/2in BSP threaded core with 8mm fluted turbo cut diamond segments, chosen for durability and cutting speed, with V-groove segments that help clear debris as the bit works.
It is for rotary use only and must not be used in percussion or hammer mode. A power drill of 850 watts or more, fitted with a safety clutch and variable speed control, is required. The bit can be used with SDS Plus drills, though best results come from a purpose-built core drilling machine.
