This DEWALT Extreme Masonry Drill Bit is designed for drilling into masonry, brick, stone, tiles and light concrete, typically for anchors, plastic plugs, fixings or pipework clearance holes. It measures 9mm in diameter, with a working length of 80mm and an overall length of 120mm.

The bit uses an optimum carbide grade for durability, said to last up to twice as long and deliver up to 50% more holes per charge on a cordless drill than a standard masonry bit. A unique tip design aims to reduce walking and improve accuracy, while the optimised milled flute is intended for fast drilling.

It features an anti-slip shank, a hardened steel body with core reinforcement, and copper brazing designed to withstand high temperatures, combining strength with drilling performance.
