The Dormer A002 is a metric HSS jobber drill bit with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, efficient drilling. Its pointed web and fluted tip provide accurate centring, reduced axial force, and efficient chip evacuation, while the optimised helix angle adds stiffness across the diameter range. The bright body suits ductile materials, and the TiN coating resists flank and crater wear while lowering friction, allowing higher cutting speeds and extended tool life. It has a 118° point angle and conforms to DIN 338, suiting both hand-held and machine drilling. This 11.0mm bit has a working length of 87mm and an overall length of 133mm, supplied singly with tool-in-situ marking for easy identification.
