About this product
Dormer A002 jobber drill bits are made from high-speed steel with a titanium nitride coating, suited to drilling metal, wood, plastic and other materials by hand or machine. The TiN coating reduces friction and heat build-up, resisting flank and crater wear and allowing increased cutting speeds while extending tool life. The bits feature a pointed web and fluted tip design with a 118° point angle to DIN 338, giving efficient cutting, reduced axial force and accurate centring. The web improves strength, rigidity and feed, while the flutes aid chip evacuation. Visible tool marking allows easy identification, and the bright finish improves cutting performance on ductile materials. This pack contains 2 bits of 4.20mm diameter, with a working length of 43mm and overall length of 75mm.
