About this product
The Dormer A002 is an HSS jobber drill bit with a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, long-lasting drilling performance across materials such as metal, wood and plastic. The pointed web and fluted tip design allows efficient cutting with reduced axial force and accurate centring, while the web geometry adds strength, rigidity and improved feed. The flutes support efficient chip formation and evacuation. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and reduces friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and reduced heat buildup, while the bright body finish improves cutting performance on ductile materials. It has a 118° point angle and conforms to DIN 338. This 6.00mm bit has an overall length of 93mm and a working length of 57mm, supplied as a single bit in a pouch pack.
