About this product
The Dormer A002 is a jobber drill bit made from HSS with a titanium nitride (TiN) coating, designed for accurate, efficient drilling. Its pointed web and fluted tip design allows efficient cutting with reduced axial force and precise centring, while the web design adds strength, rigidity and improved feed. The flutes support efficient chip formation and evacuation. The TiN coating resists flank and crater wear and reduces friction, allowing increased cutting speeds and reduced heat buildup, while the bright body improves cutting performance on ductile materials. The bit features a 118° point angle and conforms to DIN 338, suitable for hand-held or machine drilling. This 7.00mm bit has an overall length of 109mm and a working length of 69mm, supplied as a single bit in a pouch pack with visible marking for easy identification.
