This Dormer A108 jobber drill bit is made from high-speed steel and designed specifically for drilling stainless steel and other hard materials. It features a 135-degree split point, which improves centring accuracy and reduces thrust, helping to prevent the bit from wandering when starting a hole.
A quick spiral helix design aids rapid swarf removal during drilling. The bit is manufactured to DIN 338 (RW) / BS328 / ISO 235 and has a blue surface treatment, with steam tempering also noted. This 5.00mm diameter bit has a flute (working) length of 52mm and an overall length of 86mm.
