This 8mm Long Series HSS Jobber Drill Bit from Faithfull is designed for deep drilling in structural steel and heavy fabrication work, with an overall length of 165mm and a working length of 109mm. The extended reach suits clearance holes for M8 and M10 fixings, pilot holes for larger bits, and general engineering tasks where extra depth is needed. Made from M2 grade steel and ground to DIN 338 standards, it has a 135-degree non-slip split point for accurate centring, easier hole starts and improved penetration, with a robust design intended to reduce breakage. It is suitable for use on alloy steels, carbon steels, cast iron, hardened alloy steels and stainless steels, and is supplied as a single drill bit.
