About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and hard-to-reach areas, capable of drilling up to ten times its diameter. It suits professional and industrial applications where standard-length drills cannot reach.
Construction is to BS328, with a standard spiral flute design, a 118° point angle and steam tempering for durability. This bit has a diameter of 10mm, a working length of 200mm and an overall length of 250mm.
Care should be taken when using extra-long bits to avoid bending or breaking; it is recommended to start with shorter bits and progress through lengths, letting the drilling machine do the work rather than applying excessive pressure.
