About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and reaching hard-to-access areas, suited to professional and industrial use. This size has a diameter of 8mm, a working length of 250mm and an overall length of 315mm, capable of drilling up to 10 times its diameter.
It features a standard spiral flute design with a 118° point angle and is steam tempered, built to BS328. Because of its extra length, care should be taken to avoid bending or breaking the bit—starting with shorter bits and letting the drilling machine do the work is recommended.
