About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and long-reach applications where standard-length drills cannot reach. It has a 12mm diameter, a 250mm working length and an overall length of 315mm, and is capable of drilling to depths of up to ten times its diameter.
Construction features a standard spiral flute design with a 118° point angle, and the bit is steam tempered to BS328. Care should be taken when using extra-length drills to avoid bending or breaking; it is recommended to start with shorter bits, work through each length in turn, and let the drilling machine do the work rather than applying excessive pressure.
