About this product
The Dormer A125 is a high-speed steel extra-length drill bit designed for deep hole drilling and long-reach applications, capable of drilling up to ten times its diameter. It is suited to professional and industrial use where standard-length drills cannot reach.
This bit has a 118° point angle, standard spiral flute design and is steam tempered, made to BS328. It measures 6mm in diameter, with a working length of 200mm and an overall length of 250mm.
Care should be taken when using extra-long bits to avoid bending or breaking; it is recommended to start with shorter bits and let the drilling machine do the work rather than applying excessive pressure.
