About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (HSCo, 8% cobalt), giving good hardness and heat resistance for demanding drilling in tougher, higher-tensile materials. It suits professional and industrial use, including aerospace applications, where extra heat is generated during drilling.
It features a 135° split point geometry (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3) to reduce walking and improve drilling accuracy, a standard right-hand spiral flute with thick web, and a bronze surface finish. It is made to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235.
This bit has a tip diameter of 2.50mm, a working length of 30mm and an overall length of 57mm.
