The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving good hardness and heat resistance for demanding drilling work, including on tougher, higher tensile materials. It has a right-hand standard helix spiral with a thick web and a bronze surface finish, manufactured to DIN338/BS328/ISO235.
This 3.00mm size features a 135° split point ground to NAS907 Aerospace Specification type P3, which reduces walking and gives precise starts, particularly where drilling generates more heat. Overall length is 61mm with a working length of 33mm.
