About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving it good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding, high-stress drilling on tougher, higher-tensile materials. It suits professional and industrial use, including aerospace applications.
It features a 135° split point (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3) designed to reduce walking and improve drilling precision where extra heat is generated. The bit has a standard right-hand spiral flute design, thick web and bronze surface finish, conforming to DIN 338.
This 5.50mm diameter bit has an overall length of 93mm and a working length of 57mm.
