The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving good hardness and heat resistance for demanding drilling work on tougher, higher-tensile materials. It has a 135° split point (to NAS 907 Aerospace Specification type P3 geometry), which reduces walking and gives a precise start point where drilling generates greater heat.
It features a standard helix, right-hand spiral flute design with a thick web, a bronze surface finish, and conforms to DIN 338. This bit measures 7.00mm in diameter, with an overall length of 109mm and a working length of 69mm.
