About this product
This 16mm holesaw is intended for cutting larger holes, such as those for pipes, cable entries, tap fittings and mounting hardware, in hard materials including porcelain, ceramic tile, granite, marble, slate and glass. It also cuts cast iron, lightweight brick/block, plasterboard, cement board, fibreglass, carbon fibre, composites and stucco.
It has a braze bonded diamond edge and a durable alloy body for a long lifespan, with a round shank suitable for use with cordless power drills only. No guide drill is needed to start the cut.
Only minimal water cooling is required: dip the holesaw in water before starting, then begin at a 45 degree angle at full RPM, raising to 90 degrees and oscillating while cutting, dipping in water roughly every 5 seconds for best results.
