About this product
This Irwin diamond drill bit is 8mm in diameter, suited to drilling larger fixings and penetrations in tile work, such as holes for wall plugs, pipe entries, cable outlets and mounting fixtures in ceramic, porcelain and other tiles for residential and commercial use.
It is built with tough brazed diamond grit for fast, smooth cutting through hard and soft tiles alike. A raised diamond grit edge allows easy starting on hard tile without needing a guide, while a reverse spiral design draws water towards the cutting head to keep the diamonds cool, improving cutting speed and prolonging tool life.
An auto slug ejection slot allows continuous, uninterrupted cutting. Drilling with water is recommended to further extend the tool's lifespan and performance.
