About this product
This 7 piece Irwin drill bit set is designed for cordless drilling at lower RPM, suitable for tradespeople who work across a range of materials on site. Rather than switching between specialist bits, one set can handle brickwork, ceramic tiles, breeze block, wood, dry wall, gypsum board, limestone, slate, marble, eternite and plastics, including reinforced types. Each bit has a four-facet ground carbide tip, which reduces drilling pressure and improves centring accuracy for precise starts. This makes the set particularly useful for combined drilling through wood into masonry, such as when fixing battens or framework to walls, as only one bit is needed. In testing, the bits produced between 90-129% more holes per battery charge than leading competitors, giving extended working time between charges. The set includes sizes 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10 and 12mm.
