About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding professional and industrial use. It features a 135° split point that reduces walking and gives precise starts, useful when drilling tougher, higher tensile materials that generate more heat, including aerospace applications. The split point geometry meets the NAS 907 P3 specification.
It has a standard helix, right-hand spiral flute with a thick web, a bronze surface finish, and conforms to DIN 338. This 8.00mm bit has an overall length of 117mm and a working length of 75mm.
