About this product
The Dormer A777 is a heavy-duty jobber drill bit made from HSS-E cobalt steel (8% cobalt), giving good hardness, heat resistance and wear resistance for demanding professional and industrial use. It suits tougher, higher-tensile materials where drilling generates more heat, including aerospace applications.
It has a 135° split point (to NAS 907 aerospace specification type P3) which reduces walking and gives precise starts, a standard right-hand spiral flute with thick web, and a bronze surface finish. It is manufactured to DIN 338 / BS328 / ISO 235.
This size has a 9.0mm tip diameter, 81mm working length and 125mm overall length.
