About this product
The Faithfull 13mm Flat Bit is a mid-range diameter bit suited to construction and installation work, such as boring holes for pipework, cable runs and medium-sized fittings. It measures 151mm in overall length and is forged from a single piece of carbon steel, heat-treated for added strength and durability. The bit bores cleanly and efficiently through all types of timber, working equally well with or against the grain, and is also suitable for MDF, plastics and plasterboard. A grooved tip and extended spurs create a clean cutting area and increase boring speed. It has a non-slip 1/4in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism, compatible with adaptors or chucks that have a built-in quick-release feature, allowing secure and convenient bit changes.
