About this product
The Faithfull 16mm Flat Bit is suited to drilling holes for plumbing pipes, electrical conduit and medium to large fittings. It has an overall length of 151mm and is forged from a single piece of carbon steel, heat-treated for extra strength and durability. It bores cleanly and efficiently through all types of timber, working equally well with or against the grain, and is also suitable for MDF, plastics and plasterboard. A grooved tip and extended spurs help create a clean cutting area and increase boring speed. The bit has a non-slip 1/4in hexagonal shank with a locking mechanism, compatible with adaptors or chucks that have a built-in quick-release feature, allowing secure mounting and easy bit changes.
