About this product

This Irwin Masonry Drill Bit measures 3mm in diameter with a total length of 70mm and a working length of 40mm, making it suited to precise pilot holes and fine drilling work in brickwork, concrete and breeze block. It is designed for fast, efficient drilling, particularly with cordless drills, and is claimed to drill up to 60% faster than competitive bits while maintaining durability. The single flute design aids faster dust removal for increased drilling speed, while the pressed diamond-ground carbide tip allows aggressive cutting action, offering a claimed 20% longer life than previous Irwin masonry bits. The chrome vanadium body has a high carbon content, allowing greater hardening for a stronger bit with maximum rupture strength.
