The Faithfull 25mm Forstner Bit is suited to larger jobs such as substantial pipework, recessed door locks, and mounting plates for heavy-duty hardware, making it useful for plumbers, electricians and joiners. It produces the clean, flat-bottomed holes Forstner bits are known for.
Made from forged, hardened steel for durability, it has an ultra-sharp spur for accurate positioning without walking, and steep angled cutting edges that create smooth holes with chisel-like curls for efficient chip removal. The centre point assists with straight, angled and overlapping holes.
Suitable for softwood, hardwood, veneered wood and non-laminated chipboard, and fits drill drivers and bench drills with a standard 8mm chuck. Supplied as a single bit.
