About this product
This 2mm cobalt jobber drill bit from Faithfull is supplied in a pack of two, suited to precision drilling in hard materials such as pilot holes, small fixings and detailed metalwork. It is made from M35 HSSE grade steel with 5% cobalt content, giving good heat resistance and edge retention when working with abrasive or tough materials. The bit is fully ground and features a 135° non-slip split point for accurate centring and to prevent walking on hard surfaces. It is manufactured to DIN 388 standards for precision tolerances and geometric accuracy, and is suitable for use with alloy steels, carbon steels, cast iron, hardened alloy steels, stainless steels, high temperature alloys, titanium alloy, high strength steel and carbon fibre composites. Overall length is 49mm, with a tip diameter of 2.0mm, supplied as a pack of two.
