This 8.5mm Faithfull Professional Cobalt Jobber Drill Bit is a specialist size for precision engineering work, supplied individually. It is made from M35 HSSE grade steel with 5% cobalt content, giving increased heat resistance and cutting performance, which is particularly useful when drilling thick sections that generate considerable heat. The bit is fully ground for efficient cutting and chip evacuation, with a 135° non-slip split point for precise centring. It is manufactured to DIN 388 standards for guaranteed precision tolerances and geometric accuracy. Suitable for heavy-duty work in alloy steels, carbon steels, cast iron, hardened alloy steels, stainless steels, high temperature alloys, titanium alloy, high strength steel and carbon fibre composite materials. Overall length is 117mm, supplied in a pack of one.
